Why Does My Shipment Show as Canceled?Updated a month ago
If you're tracking your FedEx shipment and see that it's marked as "canceled," it can be alarming, but rest assured, your order is still on its way. Here's why this happens and what it means for your shipment.
Sometimes we print FedEx shipping labels early to stay ahead of schedule. While this helps us ensure quick processing, FedEx requires that a package with a printed label be shipped within a short period. If we realize that shipping will take longer than that, we cancel the original label and create a new one.
Even though the label is canceled, we remain within the processing time of your order. Your shipment is still on track, and this process doesn’t cause any delays. The cancellation only happens to meet FedEx’s shipping window requirements.
Occasionally, we may forget to update the tracking information after creating the new label, and we truly apologize if this causes any confusion. Even though the initial label was canceled, your order is still being processed, and a new label has been created to ensure your package arrives as expected.
If you ever notice a canceled shipment, please know that it’s just part of our process to ensure everything is shipped correctly. You should receive updated tracking details soon, but if you have any concerns or questions, feel free to contact us for clarification. We’re always happy to help!
