Finding the right necklace length comes down to where you’d like the piece to sit and how you plan to wear it. Below, you’ll find our suggested sizing guides for women, children, and men, along with simple measuring tips to help you choose the best fit.

Most of our necklaces include an additional 1 inch extender, giving you a little extra flexibility to fine tune the fit.

How to Measure Your Necklace Length

You can use either a flexible measuring tape or a piece of string and a ruler.

Using a measuring tape: Wrap the measuring tape around your neck and adjust it to the point where you’d like the necklace to sit. The measurement shown will be your preferred necklace length.

Using string or yarn: Wrap the string around your neck and mark the point where the ends meet. Lay the string flat and measure it with a ruler or tape measure.

For thicker necklace styles or chokers, we recommend adding approximately half an inch for a more comfortable fit.

Choosing a Length for Layering

If you plan to layer multiple necklaces, choosing lengths that differ by a few inches can help each piece sit at a distinct level and create a more balanced layered look.
